Brianna Mennella delivered four goals and two assists while Kira Mennella added two goals and six assists as fifth-seeded Morris Knolls won, 17-7, over 12th-seeded Montgomery in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Group 3 tournament in Rockaway.

Morris Knolls (18-2) will face fourth-seeded North Hunterdon in the quarterfinal on Tuesday.

Emilia Pacconi put in a hat trick while Addy Walker netted two goals and an assist and Jess Russo scored twice in the victory.

Montgomery is now 6-10.

18 North Hunterdon, 9 Whippany Park

Cassidy Kole and Caroline Mueller delivered three goals and two assists apiece as fourth-seeded North Hunterdon defeated 13th-seeded Whippany Park in the first round of North, Group 3 tournament in Annandale.

North Hunterdon (9-5) will face fifth-seeded Morris Knolls in the quarterfinal on Tuesday.

Emily Rush added a hat trick while Maddy Poltrack and Kealey Hoffman each put in two goals in the victory.

Jennie Paskert and Samantha Cicerone notched four goals apiece for Whippany Park (8-8).
