The Radisson Hotel Group was one of the pioneers who identified tier 2, 3 and mid-segment markets as the engine of growth and was one of the first international hotel chains to venture into these areas. Today the group gets more than 50 percent of its business from these centers, a testament to their vision and commitment to make hospitality accessible in every part of the country. With the Group’s broad presence, operation size and distribution in India, it is now trying to aggressively enter the Tier 4 and Tier 5 markets.

“This is indeed a nostalgic point in our journey of over two decades. Since its inception in the 1990s, the Radisson Hotel Group has written a success story and has played a significant role in transforming the Indian hospitality industry. I am truly grateful to our guests, owners, employees and the extended hospitality industry for their tremendous support in helping us achieve this milestone, “said KB Kachru, Chairman Emeritus and Principal Advisor, Radisson Hotel Group, South Asia.

“One hundred operational hotels is a milestone that both celebrates our heritage and ushers in a new era of hospitality for the Radisson Hotel Group. We are focused on developing a sustainable roadmap for our business that will increase our brand value, transform our operations and establish a culture of excellence, ”said Zubin Saxena, Managing Director and Vice President Operations South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.

Hundreds of operational hotels in their portfolio strengthen the group’s network and promote its operational strategy known as the India Unification Plan, which was a key driver of its success during the pandemic. As part of this business strategy, the group leverages the strength of its network to drive efficiency across industries such as talent management, sourcing, food and beverage (F&B), operations and retail, and property value in the form of reduced costs, higher returns and improved efficiencies.
