Royal Caribbean Group’s President and CEO Jason Liberty and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings President and CEO Frank Del Rio will be making public comments this week as both lines face operational challenges due to the evolving COVID-19 situation and canceled departures.
Royal Caribbean’s Liberty, new to the role since January 1, will speak to Vicki Freed, Senior Vice President of Sales and Trade Support and Service, at Coffee Talk on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings will host a press conference with Frank Del Rio and Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration and chairman of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. SailSAFE Global Health and Wellness Council.
Dr. Gottlieb will provide an update on the global status of the COVID-19 pandemic and the current and expected future effects of the Omicron variant. The conversation will be moderated by Andrea DeMarco, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
