Friday Flashback: The Houston Astrodome Opened 56 years ago today. The Hallenstadion was called the “eighth wonder of the world” and was the venue for the Astros from 1965 to 1999 and the venue for the Oilers from 1968 to 1996. It was classified as unsafe for occupancy in 2009 and rehabilitation plans have stalled.

April 10-11

CBS will televise the final two rounds of the Masters golf tournament, which will end on the Sunday after it started on Thursday on ESPN. In 2020 the tournament was postponed to autumn due to COVID, and TV ratings fell. This year it will be played to a limited audience.
