SOMERSET – All the highlights belong to the Somerset Berkley field hockey team on Patriots Day.

The Lady Raiders scored early and frequently on Monday, defeating league opponents Bourne 15-0 at Somerset Berkley Regional High School.

Ellie Cabral led SB (5-0; 4-0 in SCC) with five goals and one assist. Cami Crook threw in three goals and five assists.

Freshman Karissa Albin scored three goals and in the sophomore year Ava Pontes finished with two goals and one assist.

Other contributors were Reese Swanson (goal and five assists), Kayleigh McDonald (goal and one assist) and Lauren Rothwell (assist).

The Lady Cardinals linked their game with Old Rochester.

Megan Smith broke a goalless game for Case (3-1-2, 2-1-2 in SCC) with a goal from Emily Greene with 9:09 in the fourth quarter.

Anna Michaud had four saves on the net.

The Cardinals receive Somerset Berkley on Wednesday.

The Cardinals defeated league opponent Bourne.

Colby Campos had two goals in the win for Case (4-3-1).

Logan Potter also added a goal.

Ryan Soares scored four saves on the net for victory.

Atlantis Charter 7

Old Colony 0

The Tritons wiped out the old colony.

Luis Flores collected a hat trick for Atlantis Charter.

Other goal scorers were André Coelho-Filho, Gabriel Vilela, Mayson Branco and Joe Nyota.

The Raiders were hidden by the league opponent Dighton-Rehoboth.

Cole Travers scored 10 saves on the net for SB (3-5).

GIRLS FOOTBALL

The Lady Cardinals hid the league’s opponent, Bourne, on Senior Night.

Senior Kate Oliveira was involved in all six goals for Case, scoring three goals and adding three assists.

Tori Bettencourt had a goal and helped win, while Veronica Araujo and Brooke Adams each scored their first college goals.

Keeper Julie Heaton, who added an assist, took the shutout win on the net.

The Cardinals (3-4-1) led 3-0 at halftime.

The Lady Raiders dropped a heartbreaker to leave Dighton-Rehoboth undefeated.

Katie Hinves had four saves on the net for SB.

Junior college players Mia Gentile, Audrey Sperling, Jocelyn Wilson and Gabby Fernandes all played well.

Brooke Sullivan had a strong game for the Raiders (3-1-3).

Matt Moreau had a second place in the high jump and 55 dash. He was also a 39.5 in the 300th. Cam Cunningham finished second in the shot put (45’10 “).

The Lady Raiders (2-1) dropped their meeting of the season on ORR.

McKenzie Offley finished first in the 300 (45.7) and had two second placements in the 55 dash and high jump.

Corryn Fisher finished third in the 55 dash and 55 hurdles.
