ANN ARBOR, MI – IHG Hotels & Resorts has reopened its renovated EVEN Hotel Ann Arbor, which is part of its wellness-focused hotel brand.

The hotel at 600 Briarwood Circle was closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The renovation work, which was completed during this time, focuses on health and wellness and is intended to help visitors “no longer have the feeling of falling off the car while traveling,” said a spokesman for the EVEN Hotel

Each room has an “in-room training zone” that includes fitness equipment such as resistance bands, an exercise ball, a foam roller and a yoga mat. Visitors also have access to on-demand fitness videos that are five to 30 minutes in length.

The hotel also has a center, which officials say is twice the size of typical hotel gyms, as well as healthy meals in the restaurant.

“We are incredibly pleased to have reopened – to welcome visitors and locals alike and to give them the opportunity to experience the diverse flair of this city in a way that does not compromise on health and wellness”, Daniel Fine, Managing Director and owner of EVEN Hotel Ann Arbor said in a statement announcing the reopening.

To celebrate the reopening, EVEN Ann Arbor is offering several packages, including collecting additional loyalty points and a breakfast package for the hotel restaurant.

“Since we closed, personal health and mindfulness have become even more important and we pride ourselves on being a brand that puts wellbeing at the forefront of our hospitality,” said Fine.
