There are now five hotels in Metro Vancouver where international travelers can carry out their mandatory quarantine

Metro Vancouver’s “List of Government Approved Hotels” is growing.

Hotels where people arriving from overseas at Vancouver International Airport can be quarantined now include:

The Westin Wall Center Vancouver Airport was the first Hotel approved for travelers to Vancouver.

Travelers coming to Vancouver from international destinations must be quarantined in one of the approved hotels for three nights according to new federal regulations to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its variants. Bookings cannot be made directly with the hotel and must be made through GB Travel Canada Inc. which can only be obtained by phone.

You can be reached at:

  • 1-800-294-8253 (toll free in North America)
  • 1-613-830-2992 (collect outside North America)

Lines are open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Pacific Standard Timezone, where Vancouver is located).

Currently, only four airports in Canada receive international flights: Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary. Each has at least two hotels that have been approved for these quarantines. Along with the four that were added to Vancouver, two more were added in Toronto and one more in Montreal.

The government did a list of information required to book a hotel:

  • Name (s) of the traveler
  • Date of birth (s)
  • Place of arrival and date
  • Payment Information
  • Special requests and accessibility concerns
  • Pet information
