Staycations have grown in popularity amid the pandemic – and thankfully, some of the world’s hottest hotels are in our own backyards.

Driving the news: Two hotels in Mile High City are among the 50 best hotels in the world, corresponding the 2021 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards will be announced this week.

  • Art – A Broadway Avenue boutique hotel that opened in 2015 – ranked # 18 on the magazine’s list for its “focus” on bold, thought-provoking art.
  • Life House Lower Highlands – a quaint 15-room hotel that debuted late last year – secured 28th place for its ability to transport travelers back in time with its “Western Frontier meets Victorian Homestead Design”.

The magazine has also rated The 10 best hotels in Denver. According to ART (Score: 99.67) and Life House (Score: 99.58), the other hotels were:
