• Check in online. If you do this 24 hours before departure, you can skip the lines at the ticket office.

• Print out your boarding pass. It is advisable to have a backup for your digital passport. If you have TSA PreCheck or Global Entry and it isn’t listed on your boarding pass, call the airline or go online and provide your Known Traveler Number.

• Gather documents. Put your passport, driver’s license, boarding pass, and vaccination certificate in a folder or large envelope to keep them together.

• Scroll button websites. Check out the CDC, State Department, and destination websites for news like COVID-19 restrictions that could affect your travel plans.

• Only pack TSA approved items. The checklist for TSA website can guide you. If possible, stick to a single hand baggage to minimize waiting times at check-in or the risk of baggage loss.
