Princess cruises announced the two captains and the management team who will be at the helm of the Majestic Princess when she returns to service for the first time in 16 months from July.

The cruise line is said to have a partial season of. sailing out of the USA again Alaska Round-trip routes from Seattle, with seven-day trips starting July 25 through September 26.

Captain Dino Sagani and Captain Tony Draper will compromise the crossings at the helm of the Majestic Princess, with the industry veterans leading a senior team of officers with more than 100 years of seafaring experience.

Captain Sagani has served Princess for 26 years and was named captain of the Majestic Princess when the ship first debuted in 2017. He commanded several Princess ships including the Sea Princess, Dawn Princess, Sapphire Princess, Diamond Princess and more.

“On behalf of the entire Majestic Princess team, we are thrilled to be the first to welcome our guests back on board, to reconnect and help them create lasting memories and connections,” said Captain Sagani.

“We have been anticipating this moment for 16 months and are ready to offer our first class service and our highly personalized MedallionClass experience,” continued Captain Sagani.

Captain Tony Draper worked for princess since 2006 and is in command of several of the shipping company’s ships. He was the fleet captain and captain of Ruby Princess, Emerald Princess, Crown Princess, Caribbean Princess, Dawn Princess, Sun Princess and Coral Princess.

The management team is rounded off by chief engineer Massimiliano Imperiale, hotel general manager Charles Verwaal and staff captain Petar Lesic.
