Although teal is its trademark, UNCW has landmarks and buildings all over the world Tourism Ireland’s Global Greening Initiative on March 17th in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
The Office of International Programs has partnered with other campus units to pose Sammy Seahawk wearing Study Abroad Ambassadors in Ireland scarves holding an Irish flag in front of the Burney Center fountain, which glowed green in honor of the occasion.
For his efforts, a UNCW student will receive a waived program fee to study abroad at Maynooth University next summer. The “Gold Treasure” includes tuition, accommodation, free round-trip airfare to the Emerald Isle, and other related expenses for your international experience.
UNCW is committed to making international learning experiences accessible to all students one of three youngest recipients of the renowned Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award 2021 of NAFSA for internationalization.
