Not only are the guests excited about the resumption of operations by Royal Caribbean from California, but also the cruise line! A new video was released in anticipation of the Navigator of the Seas resumption in Los Angeles in November.

Navigator of the Seas resumes from Los Angeles

In November, Royal Caribbean’s first cruise ship prepares to resume operations from Los Angeles, California, and a new video was released. This will be the first ship in the fleet to reboot out of the state since the suspensions began in March 2020.

You can check out the newly released video below:

Navigator of the Seas will begin cruising from the Port of Los Angeles on November 18, 2021. The first return trip will be a seven day itinerary including Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, all on the Mexican Riviera. The trip also includes three days at sea, giving guests the time to enjoy the newly upgraded cruise ship.

The Royal Caribbean ship will continue to cruise from LA on short itineraries of three, four and five nights. The four-night cruises have a day at sea together with a call at Catalina Island and Ensenada. The three-night route only has one call in Ensenada.

Guests 12 years of age or older are required to provide proof of vaccination when departing from the United States, including California. Guests under this age are still allowed to cruise but there are logs.

All guests must also present a negative test result within three days of departure. However, by the time the Navigator of the Seas set sail, the policy would have changed within two days according to CDC requirements.

With some time until the Royal Caribbean cruise ship resumes operations, the protocols could change by then. The situation remains fluid, so ask the shipping company about any changes to the protocols.

Royal Caribbean will showcase one of its newly expanded cruise lines. The Navigator of the Seas underwent a major upgrade worth $ 115 million in 2019. As part of the improvements, there is the new three-tier Lime & Coconut bar, The Blaster Aqua Coaster, the upside-down Mat Racer called Riptide, the first hair dryer bar at sea and tons of new improvements.

The Navigator of the Seas will be the eighteenth ship in the fleet to resume operations. This isn’t the first to restart out of the state, however, as Carnival Cruise Line already resumed services from Long Beach towards the end of August 2021.
